Deep Listening / Viewing
Deep Listening/Deep Viewing is an approach that can be used to reread/reexamine a multimedia text to uncover its deeper meaning. It involves extended, focussed listening and viewing, and in some cases, traditional reading. It helps the reader to manage the information in an audio/visual text by breaking it down into smaller bits, which is a highly effective comprehension strategy.
